Operational in the fall of 2001, this program provides assistance to family members of patients suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Should a program member become lost or disoriented, specially trained members of the sheriff’s staff respond and perform a coordinated search using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques. An equipment demonstration can be arranged on request.
